According to reports, rapper/producer Mally Mall has been hospitalized due to complications from the coronavirus. Sources close to the situation say that lung damage is the primary issue to arise since Mall tested positive for COVID-19. He was taken to UCLA Medical Center on July 13 and was said to be in serious condition. However, his condition wasn’t dire enough to require being placed on a ventilator and is expected to recover, though a timeline for recovery is unclear at the moment.
Mally Mall is still ensconced in a legal situation involving allegations of sexual abuse, involvement in a prostitution ring, and illegally owning exotic animals. Mall’s legal team filed paperwork to postpone the legal proceedings while their client attempts to recover from the deadly virus. “(Mally Mall) was admitted to the UCLA Medical Center hospital on or about July 13, 2020, and was diagnosed with COVI-19 with impact to his lungs,” read the filing. “It is uncertain when Mr. Rashid will recover, and there would still be a quarantine period thereafter.”
