An employee at 2 Chainz’ Atlanta club, Members Only, was shot and killed by a patron Thursday morning over an argument regarding the admission price.
Police arrived at the scene of the crime close to 2:30 a.m. and discovered 27-year-old Caleb Culbreath was shot in the chest. He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he passed away.
“Preliminary investigation indicated that a dispute arose over admission fees to the nightclub and the victim was shot,” said Atlanta police officer Steve Avery in an emailed statement. “Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
Members Only celebrated its one-year anniversary in March. 2 Chainz opened the club as “Atlanta’s exclusive VIP lounge for the city’s socialites and elite professionals.”
Culbreath’s death was the 117th homicide in Atlanta this year, compared to 99 in 2019.
