Isiah Thomas Says He Was Dominant over Jordan in Head-to-Head Matchups

Isiah Thomas raised more than a few eyebrows during his chat with Shannon Sharpe on his new podcast Club Shay Shay when he claimed that Michael Jordan was only the fifth toughest player he’s faced in the NBA and asserted that he was dominant over the GOAT in their head-to-head matchups. The players Thomas claimed he had a much tougher time against included Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, and Julius Erving.

Thomas’s latest comments will undoubtedly be interpreted as further evidence of his hatred for MJ but he tried rationalizing his stance by looking at his win percentage over Jordan through the years. Regardless, the decades-long bad blood between the two will never allow Thomas to provide an opinion on MJ that doesn’t seem a bit skewed.
