According to reports, Warriors’ guard Klay Thompson sustained a lower leg injury that has basketball fans alarmed. NBA insider and writer for Undefeated Marc J. Spears tweeted that a reputable league source said it’s “not good.” ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Thompson is set to undergo testing within the next couple of days to determine the severity of the injury.
This is unwelcomed news for Warriors fans who haven’t seen Klay since he tore his ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. This potential setback is a gut-punch to Golden State who expected to have “The Splash Brothers” back on the floor for the 2020-21 season.
