NFAC Leader Facing Federal Charges for Allegedly Pointing Gun at Officers (No White Privilege)

Reports surfaced noting that the FBI arrested John Fitzgerald Johnson, who is the founder of the Not F**king Around Coalition, an all-Black armed activist group based out of Atlanta. The man known as Grandmaster Jay appeared before a judge in Louisville, Kentucky, later after his arrest.

The FBI says Grand Master Jay allegedly aimed his rifle at federally deputized task force officers while a rally took place in Louisville, Kentucky, this past September. The protest was reportedly related to Breonna Taylor, and task force officers claim they were blinded by a light they said was coming from a flashlight that was mounted to an “AR platform-style rifle” being held by Johnson that he allegedly aimed at them.

In a complaint filed by the FBI, they said, “The officers and TFOs advised they all perceived a threat from Johnson based on him aiming his rifle at them. All officers advised they were concerned Johnson might intentionally, or even accidentally, discharge a round at them.” If convicted, Johnson is facing up to 20 years in federal prison.
