According to reports, Paul Alexander, the CEO of a small jet company based in the Bronx, was arrested for alleged sex trafficking of underage girls. The arrest came after a long probe called “Operation Mile High,” which revealed he trafficked girls as young as 12-years-old.
Authorities say Alexander would charge men more money for the younger girls and offered an undercover agent two girls, ages 14 and 12, for $300 each. The criminal complaint notes that Alexander would give the girls a third of the takeaway. For the lack of monetary compensation, Alexander allegedly paid the girls in alcohol.
Neighbors of Alexander say the man was a known pedophile and is a convicted sex offender. “I would always see him with little girls up there,” said neighbor Dan Santiago. “It was never one person coming out of the apartment, it was always like a group. I found that suspicious. He was doing something up there for sure.”
Alexander, a registered Level 3 sex offender, was arraigned on Saturday on several charges including multiple counts of sex trafficking of a child.
