Soulja Boy returned to his viral ways this past weekend when he went on Instagram Live to remind the world that “there is only one Draco and that’s me.” Seemingly responding to Drakeo The Ruler announcing that he’s the only “draco” in rap, Soulja Boy went on a rant and called out rappers for doing what he’s already done.
“Anything you rap n***** done did, I already did it, n****,” Soulja Boy said. “Signing a record deal, I been did it. F****** these groupie a** hoes, I been did it. Doing songs with these rap n*****, I been did it. Y’all n***** late, y’all n***** catching up. Going viral on the internet, I been did it. I don’t need no songs with none of you p**** a** n*****.”
Trippie Redd responded by mocking Soulja Boy’s Live session. At the beginning of the clip, Trippie Redd impersonates Soulja Boy by repeating his words in a high-pitched voice. After making fun of the “Crank That” rapper, Trippie Redd questions Soulja Boy’s recent accomplishments and if he can repeat his past success.
“Bro it’s life, shut the f*** up,” Trippie said. “Do it again! Tell that n**** do it again, man! N**** be ranting and talking all this crazy s*** on the internet. Do it again! Can you go platinum for engineering and producing again? N**** be prolonging the situation. Bro, it’s 30 plus years later! It’s 30 plus years later my n****, wrap it up. Clean it up. When’s the last time you went platinum this year? Last year? The year before that? The year before that?”
Trippie Redd continued by questioning Soulja Boy’s street cred and revealing a situation that supposedly occurred at Soulja Boy’s house.
“That n**** got on the internet and said a bunch of nothing about nobody,” Trippie added. “This internet s*** be getting to people’s head, I swear to God. I be wanting to go Live and just say certain s*** about n***** because it just be like, ‘Bruh, shut up! You not no gangsta.’ N****** wanted to handle some gangsta s*** at your crib, you did some p**** n**** s***, I don’t f*** with you no more.”
Trippie Redd went on to make fun of the semi-automatic pistol, where the “draco” nickname comes from. Soulja Boy has not responded to Trippie Redd’s remarks.
