Blac Chyna’s relationship with her mother, Tokyo Toni, has played out in the public eye for better or for worse in recent years. However, after a recent interview with Tasha K, it seems the relationship has taken another turn for the worse.
Tokyo Toni commented on her relationship with her daughter and blamed “the devil” for her and Blac Chyna being at odds. When asked if the two are constantly failing to see eye to eye because they’re just alike, Tokyo Toni rejected the idea and accused her daughter of mimicking her.
“We’re nothing alike,” Tokyo Toni responded. “She mimicked me, just like Nicki Minaj did, just like Cardi B and everybody else. Mimicked me. But there’s only one of me, how about that?”
Tokyo Toni continued by commenting on Blac Chyna’s success by downplaying her accomplishments and admitting she isn’t proud of her.
“No, I’m not [proud of her],” she said. “I’m saddened by [what she’s accomplished] because I know why she received it. She couldn’t receive the same things without doing the things she’s done by hurting people. By hurting her nannies, by hurting her friends, by embarrassing her family, by hurting her mother. So, to accomplish all of these things and have all that put on the line, no I’m not [proud]. But on the other side of it, I’m very proud that she has the things that she has. She don’t have to sell a** and she ain’t gotta go strip. So, on that tip, Mama proud, baby.”
Tokyo Toni’s recent remarks are the latest in a string of negative comments she’s made about her daughter over the years. Previously, she called Blac Chyna a mistake and directed a post towards her, along wrote an expletive-filled caption, in a separate incident.
