Future’s impact on music can never be denied, as the rapper was one of many pivotal figures who catapulted the Atlanta music scene into the spotlight for this generation. The rapper’s album ‘Hndrxx’ found him locking in his place in history, as Future was the first artist to drop two Billboard 200 charting albums within weeks of each other.
Now, a fan has made a comment comparing Future’s success to that of Michael Jackson in the 80s, specifically the ‘Thriller’ era, and Future has co-signed the comment.
Future posted a screenshot of a comment made by a fan via Twitter that said “If HNDRXX woulda came out in 1982 MJ woulda never blew up.” The comment quickly caught the eye of many fans, and Future even responded with words of his own. On the IG stories post, Future’s manager said “That’s deep and one helluva compliment.” Future followed up right behind him with the comment “Just saying…” Take a look above.
