Bobby Brown Blames Nick Gordon for the Deaths of Whitney & Bobbi Kristina

Bobby Brown spoke out about the deaths of his daughter Bobbi Kristina and ex-wife Whitney Houston during a new episode of Jada Pinkett’s “Red Table Talk.”

The R&B pioneer opened about the impact drugs have had on him and his family before revealing who he feels is responsible for the multiple family tragedies he’s endured. While sitting with Jada Pinkett and cohosts Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Brown singled out Bobbi Kristina’s ex-boyfriend Nick Gordon as the man responsible for her death and Whitney Houston’s.

Brown expressed his belief that there was foul play involved in Bobbi’s death. When Willow Smith asked if Nick drugged her, Brown replied, “Definitely.”

“He was the only one there with both situations with my ex-wife and with my daughter and they both died the same way,” Bobby said before confirming his belief that Nick was responsible for Whitney’s death as well.

“Yeah I think…this is my opinion of who I think this young man was,” Bobby added. “Being around my daughter and being around my ex-wife, I think he was more so of a provider of ‘party favors.'”

Brown also claimed he was unaware of any domestic violence between Nick and Bobbi. Because he and Bobbi hadn’t spent much time together after Whitney’s death, he said he hadn’t heard about the alleged abuse until after his daughter’s death. Brown did note that he and his daughter started to grow closer months before her death.

“Did you ever have a chance to confront that young man?” Jada asked, to which Brown replied, “No, no I didn’t. In fact, before his death, I was in rehab at the time when he passed. I had planned on once I left rehab to approach the young man just to find out how my daughter was in the last days, but no I never got a chance to find out from him or talk to him.”

Nick Gordon passed away in January 2020 from a heroin overdose.

During the “Red Table Talk” episode, Bobby Brown also offered his thoughts on his son Bobby Jr.’s recent death as well as his path to getting clean and staying sober.
