2nd Suspect Charged in Murder of 7-Year-Old Girl at Chicago McDonald’s


According to reports, a second man has been charged with the murder of 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams, who was killed at a Chicago-area McDonald’s on April 18.

Demond Goudy, 21, was arrested on Monday and charged with first-degree murder for Jaslyn’s death and attempted murder for wounding her father, 29-year-old Jontae Adams.

Goudy was tracked down on Monday and arrested by SWAT after authorities surrounded his residence. He surrendered to the police soon after. Police didn’t disclose what Goudy’s role was in the murder. Goudy is scheduled to have a hearing for Wednesday in Cook County Circuit Court.
