Quality Control artist Metro Marrs was arrested after throwing $10,000 in cash on stage during his high school graduation.
Video footage that has been circulating on social media shows Metro Marrs taking the stage after graduating from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Ga., about 25 minutes away from Atlanta. He is seen jumping in the air and throwing out a stack of cash. Moments later, he was detained by officers who asked him to hand over a wad of cash.
The rapper’s team shared a video of his arrest on Monday (May 24) and revealed that he would be released that day. According to TMZ, Metro Marrs was detained for inciting a riot and disorderly conduct and then ticketed for the offense.
