Keyshia Ka’Oir Blames Gucci Mane’s 2013 Tweets On Mental Health Issues

Gucci Mane was recently interviewed by Billboard, and while speaking to the music publication, Keyshia Ka’oir was candid about the rapper’s past troubles with drug use and how she was able to help him get through being locked up.

Before being locked up in 2013, Gucci Mane went on an infamous Twitter rant that became storied because of the people he called out, like Drake, Jeezy, Nicki Minaj, Coach K, and more. Ka’oir spoke on that period in Guwop’s life, saying, “He was all over the place.” The rapper even went as far as mentioning his now-wife in the rant as well. Ka’oir said, “It wasn’t a surprise for any of us. He was terrible at times.”

Ka’oir revealed the reason why she stayed with the rapper during and after his prison sentence, saying, “I felt like he was broken and just needed someone to show him affection, for him to have a purpose. And I wanted to be his purpose.” She continued saying, “I remember telling him over the phone, ‘Just allow me to love you and come home to me.’ And those were the words and the conversations and the emails that got him out safe.”
