Reports recently surfaced noting that Erica Mena filed for divorce from Safaree in a Georgia court. In the court documents, Mena reportedly asked for primary custody of their one-year-old daughter Safire as well. However, Safaree has responded to the documents filed, noting he isn’t with the primary custody situation and that joint custody is what should go down.
In new legal documents filed, Safaree noted that he would like joint custody for their daughter, as well as their baby that is due in a month. The ‘Love and Hip Hop’ personality noted that he would like uninterrupted and consistent visitation and parenting rights for his children, noting that it’s “in the best interest of the kids,” according to TMZ.
Safaree acknowledged Mena’s request to exclusively use the home they currently have, saying he’s with it as long as he is removed from any liability for the property. Along with that, Safaree doesn’t want to pay any alimony and wants to work with the court to figure out any child support for the former couple and their family. Stay tuned for more updates.
