Trae Tha Truth to Open Ice Cream Shop in TX to Employ Special Needs People


Trae Tha Truth is continuing his longstanding mission of giving back by announcing that

he’s opening “Howdy Homemade Ice Cream” in Katy, Texas, which will employ special

needs people. The shop is set to open on July 22, which was named Trae Day by former

mayor Bill White in 2008 to honor Trae’s philanthropic contributions.

Trae’s Instagram announcement reads, “God Is Key!!!” he wrote on Instagram,

In addition to the grand opening of a Howdy Homemade Ice Cream Shop, Trae is also

teaming up with Brooklyn Nets star James Harden to give away 10 scholarships to

students on Trae Day.
