Lil Durk & Girlfriend India Cox Forced To Shoot Back During Violent Home Invasion

ATLANTA, GA – Lil Durk was reportedly

the target of a violent home invasion on

Sunday (July 11). According to

sources, multiple people broke into

Durk’s home in the Chateau Elan

neighborhood of Braselton — about an

hour outside of Atlanta — and

exchanged gunfire with The

Voice rapper and his girlfriend India

Cox who was also at the house.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation

confirmed they were both victims of a

home invasion and aggravated assault.

Durk and Cox apparently fired back,

but neither was injured. No further

details are available at this time.

There have been some strange

occurrences involving Durk’s Georgia

estate as of late. On July 12, sources

claimed Durk’s home was raided in

connection to a shooting that took place

in a nearby gated community.

“Lil Durk’s residence in Atlanta had

heavy police presence and was possibly

raided due to an investigation about a

shooting and other crimes,” sources

said. “They said there was an alleged

shooting around where he lived at. This

is a gated community, they called him

the victim. His neighbors and people

that lived in that community have

reported it to me that like, ‘Yo, Durk

live down there and there are mad cops.

Several of Lil Durk’s friends and family

members have been victims of gun

violence over the past few years. Most

recently, Durk’s older brother OTF

DThang was shot and killed outside of a

Chicago strip club. Witnesses at the

scene said he was struck in the head

and died instantly.

In November 2020, Durk’s Only The

Family labelmate and friend King Von

was murdered after leaving an Atlanta

hookah bar. One of the surviving

shooting victims, 22-year-old Timothy

Leeks (Lul Tim), was ultimately

arrested for the crime and is awaiting

trial. His cousin Nuski was also

Despite Lil Durk’s musical success, it

seems he can’t catch a break. Police are

currently asking for tips in help with

solving the case.
