Drake Reveals Release Date for ‘Certified Lover Boy’ on ESPN’s Sportscenter

In January 2021, Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ was supposed to drop but was set back after the rapper suffered a knee

injury. However, the recent weeks have found Drake in the news, along with Kanye West, who have seemingly

become rivals as West’s release for ‘DONDA’ is looming as well. Now, Drake has taken to ESPN’s Sportscenter to

release a cryptic message showing off the release date for his ‘CLB’ album.

During the sports broadcast, the footage was interrupted, and a man could be seen holding up a sign that said “CLB

September 3” on a big piece of paper. The message flashed on the screen multiple times before stalling for a second,

then going back to the normal broadcast. As of now, it seems West has pushed his album back, so it drops on the

same day as Drake. The situation mirrored when West faced off against 50 Cent, with both artists dropping their

albums on the same day. Take a look above.
