Since the launch of his music label, Heir Wave Music Group, in 2020, many have questioned whether Pusha T will stay on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label, where he served as president. Pusha T answered that very question on Thursday (January 27) when he shared a contract signed by Kanye amicably releasing Pusha from his label.
Pusha T captioned the post, “Some people call you their brother, other people show you you’re BROTHERS. Thanx ‘Yezos…’ @kanyewest.”
Pusha T spoke to Complex about plans for the label in 2020, stating, “Heir Wave Music Group is basically a label that was made in the spirit of an “album artist”—artists who have a story to tell. They have a background for the fan who wants to be fully invested in that particular artist, their whole movement, and everything about them. That’s how we’re picking artists. It’s about authenticity. It’s about pure music, whatever type of music it is. It must be pure.”
