Update 03/12/2021 9:42am: Gucci Mane’s artist Foogiano was arrested and booked at the Shelby County Jail in Memphis on Thursday (March 11). The rapper, born Kwame Brown, was charged with being a fugitive from justice without a warrant. Foogiano was wanted in Georgia’s Greenboro County after allegedly removing his court-ordered ankle monitor and disappearing for two weeks. According to Greensboro, Georgia newspaper The Herald-Journal, Gucci Mane’s artist Foogiano is on the run after allegedly burning off his ankle monitor. The Herald-Journal reported that Foogiano, real name Kwame Brown, is on probation from a 2015 burglary conviction, where he was charged with possessing a firearm as a felon.
