According to reports, one of the four people accused of killing Pop Smoke—Corey Walker, was reportedly denied bail by a Los Angeles County judge. The attorney for Walker, Christopher Darden, asked for bail for his client, but prosecutors shut the gesture down immediately. Prosecutors filed a motion saying the alleged killer should not be eligible for bail based on California laws. The judge on the case, Curtis Rappe, sided with prosecutors and held Walker as a result.
