Former Trump and GOP Aide Charged with Distributing Child Porn

A former digital strategist for the Senate Republican Conference who also designed social media ads for Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, has been charged with distributing child pornography. D.C. Metropolitan Police arrested Ruben A. Verastigui, 27, on Friday (February 5)  after an investigation revealed that he “distributed, received, and possessed images of child pornography” between March 2020 and February 2021.
